The founder of the company, Gilbert Morin, obtains a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1988. He then works as an actuary within the Quebec Ministry of Health. The company is officially founded in 1994.

PanaVue follows a path of sustained growth since its first web presence in 1998 and its first stitching software release at the same year.

Since then, its main software, ImageAssembler has been updated on a regular basis with new versions, each time adding new functionalities.

Many audacious projects lie flat on the table waiting to be developed and released.
