PanaVue ImageAssembler Professional
Features
PanaVue ImageAssembler Professional Edition offers all the
features of the
Standard Edition plus:
Huge Image Support
ImageAssembler Professional Edition supports source images and resulting images
with a maximum side length of 100 000 pixels.
New Photoshop PSB large image format is supported with multi-layers
in 16-bit.
Note: most image file formats have their own limitations regarding image or file size.
For example TIFF files are limited to 4GB.
Professional Color Handling
Tiff, PSB, and PSD files with a color dept of 16-bit per channel are supported in PanaVue
ImageAssembler Professional Edition. This allows to produce images with a larger
range of colors.
Some image file formats could contain ICC color profiles. The color profiles are used
to make sure that color rendering on a computer screen, or a printer, will be as close as
possible to the original colors.
PanaVue ImageAssembler Professional Edition fully supports ICC color profiles in
TIFF, JPEG, and multi-layer PSD or PSB file formats. It uses the embedded color profiles for
displaying and printing the images. It also embeds color profiles in the resulting image
when there is one in the source images.
Hand-Held Photos
PanaVue ImageAssembler Professional Edition supports 3 and 5 flag manual
stitching. These modes are dedicated to hand-held photo shooting. They have the
particularity of computing a different set of camera position parameters for each image.
This allows handling cases where the roll and tilt values change from photos to photos,
which often occurs during hand-held photo shooting.
Post-Production Retouching
The Professional Edition of ImageAssembler allows you to save your resulting images
as multi-layer PSD or PSB files. This allows you to do post-production retouching in
Photoshop. When you open a multi-layer PSD or PSB resulting image in Photoshop, you see each
source image as a separate layer. In each of these layers, the blending is saved as a
mask. You may use all of the Photoshop tools to modify the colors of any of the images, to
move one image with respect to another, or to change the stitch line or blending width.
Probably the most useful feature is the ability to modify the stitch lines or the blending
widths by working on the masks. You may make a mask visible, then add to it with the
pencil or the brush tool, or remove from it with the eraser tool. Photoshop's rich set of
features allows for unlimited control of the blending.
Customizable HTML Pages
HTML templates are a flexible tool that lets you customize the way ImageAssembler
generates HTML pages. These pages show flat images or panoramas with a VR-viewer. The
template itself is simply a text file with ordinary HTML text combined with special
instructions. The special instructions are interpreted by ImageAssembler to generate the
non-static part of your pages. New templates can be created to support virtually any
viewers and/or special page formats.
